DIRECTIONS TO THE SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION at Cherohala Skyway

FROM WAYNESVILLE: Take U.S. 74 west for approximately 70 miles, and then turn north onto U.S. 129. Take U.S. 129 to Robbinsville, NC (approx. 12 miles). Here you will merge onto NC 143. Follow NC 143 for 12 miles to the beginning of the Cherohala Skyway at Santeetlah Gap. From Santeetlah Gap, continue West on NC 143 for approximately 7 or 8 miles, watching for Spirit Ridge trail. Huckleberry Trail is the very next trail on the North side, to your right, of the road.
