Company Information

McRae Management Corporation was founded in 1978 to provide a vehicle for marketing the business management, IT systems engineering and computer training skills of the McRae family and its associates. Newly graduated from Grumman Data Systems computer programming school, our founder, Alan J. McRae, wanted to be able to offer high quality computer consulting services on Apple and IBM-compatible personal computers to small and mid-sized businesses in the NY metro area. The company distinguished itself by carefully listening to owners, managers, line workers, and clerical staff members in a genuine effort to understand the real needs of its clients' businesses.

By teaming up with Computerland of Carle Place, one of the first computer retail stores on the East Coast, McRae Management Corporation was able to deliver customized computer solutions to many different kinds of businesses. It was through this Computerland store that Mr. McRae met Dennis Osrow, President of OSR Systems, Inc. and Fred Lee, President of Fred Lee Associates - two computer consultants with diverse technical skills that included computer programming, systems engineering, and end-user technical support. Mr. Osrow and Mr. Lee were both instrumental in the creation of numerous customized computer systems for McRae Management clients, and they continue to provide these kinds of services to this day!
