The Sunset Inn is a charming country inn overlooking Lake Junaluska in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The Inn's 12 guest rooms, large dining rooms, and breezy porches are reminiscent of the 1920's and are perfect for family reunions, weddings, adult groups, and quiet getaways.

Over the years, the Sunset Inn has been privileged to host numerous weddings. The warmth and romance of the inn offer the perfect setting to begin making your beautiful life memories.

Whether you seek a place for a rehearsal dinner, wedding brunch/dinner/reception or one of our wedding packages, the wedding staff is ready to help you plan one of the most important days of your life. We can take care of the whole wedding and reception, including flowers, lodging for your guests, meals, and arrangements if you choose one of our wedding packages.

Reunions

For years now, The Sunset Inn has had a history of hosting family reunions. In fact, we host some of the same families from year to year. The inn has a reputation of being a place where families can relax and enjoy the company of one another. Adults can rock on the front porch, sit by the fire in the living room, enjoy a relaxing massage, or take a leisurely stroll around the lake. Children can play freely and safely inside as well as outside. On the Lake Junaluska grounds there is also boating, swimming,, and, in the winter, just a short drive away there is snow skiing.

Full country breakfasts are included in your stay. We can prepare your other meals as well - perhaps a relaxed outdoor barbecue would suit your family - or a seating at our fine dining restaurant, Lillian's on the Lake.
